Ryan grew up in Topeka, moving to Lawrence in 1998 to attend the University of Kansas. Since graduating from KU with a BA in Psychology, he has considered Lawrence "home". Ryan and his wife Katie officially set their roots in the Lawrence community in 2013, both by choosing a career in Real Estate and by beginning their family.
Ryan's interests include fashion, architecture, books, shopping, and wine, beer, and fine whiskey. Since college, Ryan has spent time buying homes and remodeling them, giving him unique market experience. Katie is an interior designer, so they share a love of updating houses. Giving back to the community is something Ryan considers extremely important. He spends time delivering meals to seniors for the Douglas County Senior Center, as well as helping in various capacities for their Reinvent Retirement program.
Prior to working in Real Estate Ryan was a manager for Nordstrom, where he learned the importance of great customer service; something he strives to bring his real estate clients in every transaction. Ryan obtained his license at the end of 2013 and has since been steadily building his business and getting involved in the Realtor community. His approach to real estate is one of constant learning; Ryan currently maintains his ABR and his SRES Designations with the National Board of Realtors. He knows that excellent communication and good relationships with his buyers and sellers are important elements in closing each transaction successfully. If you're ready to buy or sell your home, give Ryan a call.
