My family moved to Lawrence when I was 4 years old so I consider Lawrence to be my hometown. My parents seemed to enjoying buying and selling homes so moving from house to house was a big part of my childhood. We lived in old houses, new houses and everything in between. I think that, along with marrying into a building family really peaked my interest in real estate years ago. After marrying my high school sweetheart and starting our family, my husband and 3 kids became my main priority. I feel very blessed that I have been able to be a stay at home mom the last 23 years and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Being able to be involved in their various school, church, sports and club activities was extremely important to me. Now that 2 are in college and my youngest son will be a Senior at LHS next year, it is the perfect time for me to take my love of people, my knowledge about Lawrence and construction to use helping people find the perfect home. My sister in law, Shelley Ezell, and I are working as a team for Stephens Real Estate, Inc. She was an agent for several years for Stephens and also in Texas before deciding that being home with her kids was where she needed to be. Now that her 2 kids are about grown she is glad to be back with Stephens and I am excited to be working with her. The decision to buy or sell a home is a big one and I would love the opportunity to help make that process go as smoothly as possible.
