Born and raised in Western Kansas, Libby grew up enjoying the simple things in life¦family, friends, and good fellowship. It was that very foundation of caring about others that led to her pursuing a degree in Social Work from Fort Hays State University. During those college years Libby became an AmeriCorps member and volunteered in many different non-profit organizations during that time. Soon after graduation, Libby began her Social Work career employed by the State of Kansas, in the local Lawrence office. Libby quickly discovered a natural connection when working with people whether it was families, co-workers, or other professionals. It was this desire to work closely and intimately with others along with a love to see people finding their new home that led to a most recent career change and adventure into the world of real estate. Lawrence has been home to Libby and her family for about nine years, and this community has been nothing but great to the Grady family. Spending time with her husband and two children is a priority to Libby as well as volunteering at church, being active in sports and yoga, and committing to staying connected to the simple things in life¦time with friends and family.
