STEAMBOAT SOTHEBY'S

bio:
Scott is a 4th generation Realtor, from a line that includes a great grandmother, grandfather, and his father. Before Scott started his career in Steamboat Springs real estate in 1979, he earned degrees in Business Management Administration and Data Processing and in the process built homes with his father's construction company. Scott has been a full time Realtor in the Steamboat Springs area for the past 28 years and co-founded the original Prudential Trimontane office in 1989. As he grew in real estate success, Scott gave back. In his various official positions over the years, Scott has served as President of the Steamboat springs Board of Realtors, MLS Chairman and as Director for the Colorado Association of Realtors and was Realtor of the Year in 1988. He was instrumental in developing the first Land Preservation Subdivision in Routt County and 4 additional large tract subdivisions since. He has been a Board of Director on two water companies; Morrison Creek Metropolitan Water and Sanitation District and the Woodchuck Ditch Company. This experience in land development and knowledge of water issues make him the right man for the job if you are looking to buy or sell land. Scott's building and remodeling of numerous homes and condominium projects means he can answer the tough questions a buyer or seller may have when it comes to building a home or the purchase of an existing home or condominium. If you are in the market for a commercial property Scott can provide valuable insight on commercial investment opportunities and has marketed and sold various commercial projects throughout the valley, as well as being a co-owner/manager of an office building in downtown Steamboat. He and his wife, Dixie have 3 daughters, Whitney 26, and twins Alexandra and Annabelle, 19 If you like to ski, play hockey, scuba dive, bow hunt, water ski, climb mountains or even dance you'll definitely find something (other than real estate) to talk about with Scott.
