In May of 1993, following graduation from Indiana University, I decided that it was time to fulfill a lifelong dream to live in the Rocky Mountains. This dream led me over Rabbit Ears Pass, to the lush green meadows of the Yampa Valley and Steamboat Springs. The reason I turned up in Steamboat that summer was nothing more than the fact that my parents moved here the previous year giving me a free place to stay and a small sense of familiarity from many family ski vacations.

In March of 1995, I received my real estate license and together with my father, we formed Colorado Group Realty, LLC. In August of 1998, we merged with another company and my father and I gained three new partners. Then in 2002, we gained another 6 partners and at that time decided to offer ownership in the company to all of our associates.

Since our formation, I have experienced a tremendous amount of pride in watching Colorado Group grow into a very close-knit family of highly successful Brokers. Colorado Group Realty has become one of the top real estate firms in Steamboat Springs and Routt County and I strongly believe that this comes from our devotion to the team concept to satisfy and assist our clients.

Having lived in Stagecoach, a small re-emerging recreational community just South of Steamboat, for over 6 years, I developed a niche of marketing property in the Stagecoach area. This experience gave me a career boost in the real estate business and as a result I discovered and developed a genuine interest in assisting first time homebuyers and first time resort property buyers.

Now I live in Old Town, downtown Steamboat Springs and I specialize in all facets of our resort real estate market. I pride myself in offering my best to make the process of purchasing resort property exciting and enjoyable for the inexperienced buyer. My strongest asset and recommendation is my satisfied customer base and my commitment to the community in which I live.

Every time I drive over the West Summit of Rabbit Ears Pass into Steamboat Springs, I feel extremely lucky and fortunate to live in such an incredible place. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping, telemark skiing, fly fishing, soccer and poker. I love to cook and hang out around a campfire.

I love music and most weekends during the summer you'll find me on the road with friends heading to a concert or festival. Steamboat Springs is definitely home for me now and I truly have the Yampa Valley Curse- once you are here you can never leave or if you leave you will always come back. Careful, it is highly contagious and it's Why We Live Here.
